Concerning the data processing activities related to the website of PV Partners Attorneys’ Association, available at www.pvpartners.hu

    1. This Privacy Notice is intended for all visitors to the website of PV Partners Attorneys’ Association, www.pvpartners.hu hereinafter referred to as the “Website”, including, in particular but not limited to, all interested parties, prospective clients, job applicants, and newsletter subscribers. Its purpose is to provide information, in accordance with applicable laws, on the circumstances under which PV Partners processes personal data in connection with the Website. PV Partners Attorneys’ Association is composed of Dr. Pintér Attila Law Office and Vámosi Róbert Law Office hereinafter also referred to as “PV Partners”; accordingly, these law offices act as joint data controllers. All members, employees, and contributors of these offices, as well as any members who may join PV Partners Attorneys’ Association in the future, may have access to the personal data processed by PV Partners. Such persons are subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.

    1. Contacting us through the Website for the purpose of requesting an offer or consultation

Purpose of Data Processing:

Contacting, maintaining contact, and providing consultations for the purpose of using the services of PV Partners Attorneys’ Association.

Legal Basis for Data Processing:

In the case of private individuals, the legal basis for data processing is the voluntary and explicit consent of the data subject. In the case of business contacts or representatives acting on behalf of legal persons or other organisations, the legal basis for data processing is the legitimate interest of PV Partners as data controller.

Data Subject to Processing:

Full name, email address, telephone number, and any other personal data provided during the contact process through the www.pvpartners.hu website.

Data Retention Period:

Messages received through the contact form are retained for 3 months from the date of receipt and are deleted thereafter, except for enquiries that result in the conclusion of a legal services engagement agreement. In such cases, the retention period of the data shall be determined in accordance with the provisions of the legal services engagement agreement.

Transfer of Data to a Third Country or International Organisation:

No data is transferred to any third country or international organisation.

Consequences of Failure to Provide Data:

The provision of data is not mandatory. However, in the absence of such data, PV Partners will not be able to contact or maintain contact with the person submitting the enquiry and, therefore, will not be able to provide a consultation opportunity.

Purpose of Data Processing:

Selecting an employee for a job application.

Legal Basis for Data Processing:

The voluntary and explicit consent of the job applicant.

Data Subject to Processing:

Identification data, contact details, data relating to previous employment, data relating to education and schools attended, data relating to qualifications and competencies, as well as any other personal data provided by the applicant in their CV or in any other document forming part of the application materials, or which becomes known in any way during the recruitment process.

Data Retention Period:

Until the relevant position is filled, or, with the explicit consent of the data subject, for an additional period of 1 year from the date the position is filled, for the purpose of contacting the applicant in connection with future vacancies.

Transfer of Data to a Third Country or International Organisation:

No data is transferred to any third country or international organisation.

Consequences of Failure to Provide Data:

The provision of data is not mandatory. However, in the absence of such data, PV Partners Attorneys’ Association will not be able to contact or maintain contact with the applicant submitting the job application.

Purpose of Data Processing:

Sending newsletters to subscribers regarding news, legal summaries, services, other business and professional content prepared by PV Partners, as well as the business services of the attorneys’ association.

Legal Basis for Data Processing:

The voluntary and explicit consent of the subscribing data subject.

Data Subject to Processing:

Full name and email address.

Data Retention Period:

The personal data is processed until the subscribing data subject withdraws their consent or unsubscribes from the newsletter.

Transfer of Data to a Third Country or International Organisation:

No data is transferred to any third country or international organisation.

Consequences of Failure to Provide Data:

The provision of data is not mandatory. However, in the absence of such data, PV Partners Attorneys’ Association will not be able to send newsletters to subscribers.

  1. Use of Data Processors
    1. In the course of certain data processing activities, such as sending newsletters or operating our website, we use the assistance of external service providers. These external service providers qualify as data processors and carry out data processing activities based on the instructions of the data controller, namely PV Partners Attorneys’ Association. As a result, they may have access to some or all of the data processed in connection with the services provided through our website. These data processors perform their activities on the basis of a written agreement and are subject to confidentiality obligations. The right to rectification enables you to request that the Data Controller correct inaccurate or incomplete data. You are entitled to request the erasure of personal data concerning you from the Data Controller. If you request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, the Data Controller may restrict processing in accordance with your request. If you contest the accuracy of your personal data, the restriction shall apply for the period necessary to enable the Data Controller to verify the accuracy of such data. You may request the restriction of the use of personal data if the processing is unlawful, but you oppose the erasure of the data. You may also submit such a request if the Data Controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of processing, but you require the restriction of processing for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.
      3. Right to object – You are entitled, on grounds relating to your particular situation and in the cases provided for by law, to object at any time to the processing of your personal data.
      4. Right to data portability – You also have the right to data portability. Under the right to data portability, you are entitled to receive the personal data concerning you that is processed by the Data Controller in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and you are entitled to transmit such data to another data controller without hindrance from the Data Controller. Where technically feasible, you may also request that the Data Controller transmit your personal data directly to another data controller.
      5. Right to withdraw consent – You are also entitled to withdraw your prior consent to data processing at any time, without justification and free of charge. Please note that the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

      2. You may bring proceedings before a court in the event of unlawful processing of your data or a breach of data security requirements. As provided by law, you may be entitled to compensation and damages for non-material harm. Data Controller:

A natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or any other body that, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data. For the purposes of this Privacy Notice, the data controller is PV Partners Attorneys’ Association.
